Lost Faces Ancestor Photos from the 1800s

Wishing you had an ancestor photograph? Check out the 1800s photographs and antique photo albums on Lost Faces. There are over 3,500 photos in this growing genealogy collection

Submitted by Lorine: Although this letter does not have a state listed, I believe it is Goshen Indiana. There were several McCord and Chamberlain families listed there in the census records index.

It was a difficult letter to read as the handwriting is rather loose. With some more work I believe I could decipher most of the letter. I own the original and will be offering it for auction on EBay in the future. If you recognize this family, please write to me as it would be great to know more about Alice and her cousin Charles.
